In that time Thunder Power RC also launched a line of aircraft ESCs with a revolutionary new feature that monitored individual cells during discharge to prevent single-cell over-discharge that could cause a battery to lose performance prematurely. And in 2008, Thunder Power RC released its first line of batteries specifically intended for use in RC surface vehicle applications that included purpose-built and ground-up designed batteries with impact-resistant housings. Later that year Thunder Power RC took their industry-leading standards to a whole new level by introducing exclusive Generation 4 LiPo batteries that offered up to 40% more power and 6-times more cycle than previous generation batteries.
